Santa Barbara Mosaics

I create unique custom contemporary and antique-style mosaic designs using ancient tools, materials and techniques to decorate your home or office. Mosaic commissions and installations are tailored to the client's taste and life style.

I can create a mosaic design for you, or replicate your artwork for decorative kitchen and bath backsplashes, entryway floor emblems, fountains, garden wall or sculptural art, pool and Jacuzzi surrounds.

I was awarded Master of Mosaics certificates from the Angelo Orsoni Institute in Venice, Italy and the Scuola Arte de Mosaico in Ravenna, Italy.

Recent public mosaic installations include the Seal of the City of Santa Barbara at the Sea Landing (winner of the 2014 Santa Barbara Beautiful Public Open Spaces Award); a mosaic depicting the Channel Islands with our unique kelp forest inhabited by marine creatures for the new Outreach Center for the Teaching of Ocean Science at UCSB; and the Life-cycle of the Monarch Butterfly Mosaic at UCSB's Early Childhood Care and Education Services; Orfalea Family Children's Center.

My one-of-a-kind mosaics are inspired by nature, legends, traditions and antiquity.  Smaller pieces are available for purchase from my studio and showroom in Santa Barbara, CA.

I am a member of the Santa Barbara Studio Artists and the Santa Barbara Art Association. You may visit my mosaic design studio and showroom year-round. I teach mosaic art workshops at The Santa Barbara School of Mosaic Art.
